In St. Irene’s Square, in downtown Athens, there are restaurants and cafés for every taste. Spollati restaurant in Aiolou Street is one of the best. From culinary perspective, the dish that really stands out is trahanoto with mushrooms, ideally accompanied by a good wine. As far as architectural design is concerned, the dominant style is evidently industrial, with a look of demoulded concrete on the walls and Lavaplaster in dynamic colours in the bathrooms.
