LAVAPAINT

LavaPaint is bioclimatic, inorganic, based on ceramic flour, kourasani and theraic earth, while it contains materials, specially selected, without any chemical treatment. Creates a special aesthetic with textures that are shaped by the applicator using a spatula. Its special composition makes it have excellent breathability, ensuring a dry surface and keeping the atmosphere of the space healthy and pleasant. All the properties of LavaPaint come from the properties of natural mineral raw materials as they do not contain chemical additives, plasticizers, film-forming and preservatives. It is extremely durable and protects the surface from adverse weather conditions and UV radiation. It can be used both externally and internally giving an extremely durable but at the same time elastic and waterproof surface.
There is available with the same color palette, a specially modified version for Thermal Insulation Plaster of the same appearance.

PROLAT travelled once again to Paros, the beloved Cycladic island that is famous for its beautiful traditional villages and stunning golden beaches. There, in Parikia, the picturesque capital of the island that captivates the visitor with its paved alleys, whitewashed houses and little yards bursting with flowers, PROLAT had the chance to leave its creative mark on one of the most elegant and tasteful buildings of the area with one of its most popular products: LavaPaint. Because a special building like the old Petros Ragousis edifice, which has been proudly surveying the port since 1887, deserves nothing but the most special materials. In the beautiful volcanic island of Lemnos, beneath the castle of Myrina, PROLAT added its own creative touches to a stately two-storey house built according to the rules of picturesque traditional architecture and in perfect harmony with the natural environment, under the supervision of engineer Stasinos Sampαlos, with two very special products: Coloured Stone Mortar and LavaPaint with Kourasani. Coloured Stone Mortar, a bioclimatic material consisting solely of natural ingredients – ceramic tile powder, Theran earth, hydrated lime and silica sand – offers excellent workability and bonding.
