In the old days street vendors known as koulourades used to sell the famous koulouri of Thessaloniki, a crunchy sesame-seed bread ring, dexterously balancing the trays with their delicious goods on their heads. “Koulourades”, one of the most successful bakery chains that have been recently founded in Greece, has undertaken the task of making this traditional healthy and widely used snack that dates back to the Byzantine Period popular among the young too. PROLAT has done its bit in the new “Koulourades” shop in Ilion, using its antislip and particularly wear-resistant quartz mosaic on the floor. In addition, PROLAT natural paint has been used both on the ceiling and on the interior and exterior walls, creating a really attractive, friendly and welcoming environment that will certainly become the favourite hangout of the neighbourhood, especially for koulouri lovers of all ages.
